Special Legal Opinions

Certain fields of activity lack regulation that determines what is prohibited and what is permitted, or the law does not refer to them at all. However, activity in these areas can be very profitable and is not accompanied by an intention to break the law.

The way to settle this tension and create a degree of legal certainty is to examine and analyze the existing laws that may apply to the client’s specific activity, and define them within the framework of a comprehensive legal opinion that determines the activity’s scope and degree of exposure or lack of exposure of the law. It is important to note that state authorities are not obliged to act according to these opinions and can reach opposite conclusions.

The opinions, which are usually written by former regulators working with our firm, are added as an appendix to documents and help to ease the concerns of banks and payment companies.
